Fontanelle's inaugural exhibition All I Can Do is Dream explores the dreamland in our hearts and how we create environments that reflect these wishful visions.

On the eve of opening this art space where our dreams and ambitions are literally coming to life, it seems befitting to host an exhibition that celebrates visionary splendor. The participating artists were chosen because their individual works reflect something that each of them seeks to capture by looking at our earthly consciousness through different lenses.The seemingly nonsensical wonderland of our dream world presents us a rare opportunity to examine our lives through a looking glass. How do we translate and recreate these images and feelings in ‘real’ life?

Lisa Beyer celebrates the lives of whales, creatures that exist outside of the worries and pressures of our daily lives, with her large-scale pen on paper drawings. Kristie Louderbough creates abstract soft sculpture relief portraits that blur the lines of traditional representation to present a softer, cloudlike transcension. Meg Peterson's works depict stark icy mountain ranges and arctic tundra landscapes within a swirling atmosphere of soft gray and blue tones. Lastly, Shanon Schollian presents clouds and mushrooms that combine vintage textiles and homespun crafting to revisit materials and techniques of the past in a way that reflects her visions today.
